Ice Cream

We started making our own ice cream. Jen got me one of those ice cream balls for Father's Day.

It's a little effort intensive for the amount of ice cream you get, but it actually makes pretty good ice cream. Quality ingredients make a huge difference.

So far, we've made batches of ginger and peach.

Up next: chocolate.

Harvest Time!

I had my first major pea harvest last weekend. They were delicious.

I've grabbed another 15 or so since then. Fresh. Crispy. Even a little sweet. Damn, that's good.

The pea crop will be ending soon. I will be sad. How can I go back to grocery store vegetables after having them just picked? Everything else tastes like green rubber bands.
