The Erie Country Fair had a seminar on washing your chicken. Seriously.
I think you dipped your chicken in detergent, vinegar, fabric softener, then water. Towel drying was optional. Some of them prefer blow drying.
There's a whole other world going on out there that I know nothing about...

He's embracing my Upstate NY heritage.
I think steps 5 and 6 were "dredge in flour" and "drop in fryer".
Further down the row was the seminar on choking the chicken. (Huhh...huhh)
I decided not to post the pictures from that demonstration.
Is she using fabric softener?!
